The Illinois Latino Public Policy Institute is the foundation’s

with the University of Illinois, the institute is housed on
the university’s Springfield campus.
The institute’s activities include serving as a clearinghouse
for information on Illinois Latinos; production of original
research on Illinois Latinos and issues of concern to
the Latino communities; research coordination with
universities, community based organizations, businesses and
advocacy groups; research analysis focused on formation
of public policy recommendations; and education and leadership
development through internships offered to undergraduate
and graduate students in a variety of disciplines.
